21 — providing honorable things,
Not only in the sight of the Lord,
But also in the sight of men.
At Akasia Funeral Services, we strive to provide a personal and meaningful experience celebrating the life of your loved one.
We listen to your needs.
From the time we accept your loved one into our care, the memorial service and interment in the cemetary or cremation urn, we endeavour to promote a meaningful experience promoting the healing for family and friends who are grieving their loss.
Akasia Funeral Services was founded in the year 2000, at the coastal town of Walvis Bay, Namibia.
Initially, the idea of a funeral service was borne from a desperate need experienced in the local communities of Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, but has since grown to extend its services further afield.
Akasia Funeral Services has since established branches and satellite offices in Windhoek in the Khomas Region, Rehoboth in the Hardap Region and Usakos in the Erongo Region of Namibia.
Under the guidance of the new owners, Akasia Funeral Services has re-positioned itself to become a foremost supplier of funerary goods, such as

We at Akasia Funeral Services have been witness to the ravages of grieve and also the bleakness experienced by those left behind. To this end, we encourage those left behind to experience the first few steps in the healing process through empathetic counselling.
Furthermore, there is a network of counsellors with whom we are in contact with and to whom the bereaved may also be referred to.
Often times, an untimely death in a family may leave those left behind in an often precarious financial position when considering, amongst other, the cost of burails and cremations.
Akasia Funeral Services is a registered financial service provider, duly authorised to provide financial products such as Funeral Policies, Life Policies, et al, while further advising individuals with regards to Wills and Trusts and the planning thereto.
We believe that financial provision should be made not only for the departed, but most especially for those left behind.
